The Biblical Truth
Perfectionism is a cruel master. It tells you that you are only as good as your last mistake. Jesus offers a different way: He lived the perfect life we couldn't, so we are free to work hard, fail, and try again without our souls being on the line.
The Scripture
Matthew 11:28-30 - "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls." (Context: Jesus is contrasting His grace with the crushing, perfectionistic demands of the religious leaders of His day.)
