The scoreboard measures results; God measures faithfulness. If you worked hard, played clean, and treated people right, you succeeded in the eyes of heaven, even if the world calls it a loss.
The Scripture
Colossians 3:23-24 - "Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward." (Context: Paul is telling slaves that their daily, unseen labor has eternal value when done for Christ, regardless of earthly recognition.)
